Drip Irrigation Testing Machine

Precision measurement instrument for evaluating drip irrigation system performance by measuring water discharge and leakage rates of drip irrigation pipes and emitters under controlled pressure.

Flow and leakage testing of drip lines and emitters

A drip irrigation line is only useful if every emitter delivers the specified flow at the working pressure. The drip irrigation testing machine pressurises 5 to 10 lines of drip pipe or emitters in a heated water bath (up to 50 °C) and measures discharge and leakage under controlled pressure up to 5 bar. A 0.35 L accumulator stabilises the pressure, and PLC control automates the test for production quality control to the drip irrigation standards (such as ISO 9261).

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the machine measure?

The water discharge (flow rate) and leakage of drip irrigation pipes and emitters under controlled pressure, to check flow uniformity against the specification.

What pressure and temperature range does it cover?

Working pressure up to 5 bar, with a thermally insulated 1.5 m × 0.3 m water bath heated up to 50 °C by a 5 kW heater.

How many lines can be tested?

5 to 10 test lines, adjustable to your production volume.

Which standards does it support?

Agricultural irrigation standards for emitters and emitting pipe, such as ISO 9261, and plastic piping standards for irrigation.
