High Quality Colorimeter
High-precision colorimeter for measuring and quantifying colour of plastic materials, films, and surfaces. Accurate L*a*b* colour space measurements for QC and colour matching.
Colour as numbers, not opinions
Two people under two lights will judge the same colour differently; a colorimeter does not. It measures colour in the CIE L*a*b* space — and in LCH and RGB — so a batch can be compared with the approved standard as a single ΔE value. Molders, compounders and masterbatch producers use it to release batches, match customer colours and track drift over time, with a colour LCD, USB and Bluetooth connectivity and PC software for analysis.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does a colorimeter measure?
The colour of a sample in numerical colour spaces such as CIE L*a*b*, LCH and RGB, so differences can be quantified.
What is ΔE?
The total colour difference between a sample and a reference, calculated from the differences in L*, a* and b*; customers usually set a maximum ΔE tolerance.
Which samples can be measured?
Plastic parts, plaques, films, granules and coated or painted surfaces.
How are results transferred?
Via USB or Bluetooth to the PC software for analysis and QC records.
