Moisture Analyzer
Laboratory and industrial moisture analysis device using IR heating technology for fast, precise, and repeatable moisture content measurement. Features 50 g capacity with 1 mg precision and multiple drying profiles. Suitable for plastics, food, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and construction materials.
Fast moisture results instead of oven drying
The moisture analyzer weighs the sample, dries it with an infrared heater and calculates moisture content from the weight loss — the loss-on-drying principle — in minutes rather than the hours a conventional oven method needs. With 50 g capacity, 1 mg readability and 0.001% moisture resolution, it is used to check plastic granules before processing, as well as food, chemical, pharmaceutical and construction materials. Standard, fast, incremental and gentle drying profiles let the same device handle robust and heat-sensitive samples.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does a moisture analyzer work?
It continuously weighs the sample while an IR emitter heats it (up to 160 °C). The weight lost as water evaporates is converted into moisture content; the test ends automatically when the weight stabilises, or after a set time.
Why measure moisture in plastic granules?
Residual moisture in hygroscopic polymers causes bubbles, silver streaks and loss of strength during processing. Checking moisture after drying confirms the granules are ready for the extruder or injection machine.
Which sample sizes and accuracy does it offer?
Up to 50 g of sample with 1 mg weighing readability and 0.001% moisture display resolution, on a sample pan with a maximum sample height of 20 mm.
Can results be transferred to a computer or LIMS?
Yes. The device has RS232, USB and Wi-Fi interfaces for printing or exporting results.
