Climate Cabinet

Climatic cabinet for simulation of standard climates and extreme environmental conditions including dry heat, high humidity, and freeze. Designed for accelerated curing, thermal cycling, and humidity tests.

Controlled climates for conditioning and environmental tests

Many material properties depend on temperature and humidity, so standards require specimens to be conditioned or tested in a defined climate. The climate cabinet holds temperature between −50 °C and 150 °C and relative humidity between 20% and 98%, with ±0.1 °C and 1% RH accuracy. Programmable cycles (1–999 repeats) make it suitable for thermal cycling, accelerated curing, humidity ageing and freeze–thaw tests on plastics, building materials such as cement and concrete, and electronic components.

Frequently Asked Questions

What temperature and humidity range does the cabinet cover?

−50 °C to 150 °C and 20–98% relative humidity, with ±0.1 °C temperature accuracy and 1% RH humidity accuracy.

Which volumes are available?

120 L, 250 L and 600 L, with 2 to 7 shelves depending on the configuration, and a stainless steel interior.

Can it run automatic test cycles?

Yes. Up to 10 programs can be stored and repeated 1–999 times, so temperature/humidity profiles such as thermal cycling or freeze–thaw run unattended.

Which industries use a climate cabinet?

Plastics and packaging labs for specimen conditioning and ageing, construction-material labs for cement and concrete curing and freeze–thaw resistance, and electronics manufacturers for environmental durability tests.
